It took Scott over 5 years to develop this masterpiece, focusing on the mechanical heart that forms the core of the design. The absence of traditional fasteners is immediately noticeable, as the knife utilizes 302 stainless steel rings to secure the Richlite scales on the 416 stainless steel chassis.

The Richlite material serves a dual purpose, reducing weight while providing a robust cage to safeguard the highly distinctive self-adjusting mechanism. This mechanism ensures the blade remains securely locked in place with substantial contact, reducing blade play to almost nothing.
